This sunny 8^th floor property is centrally located in the heart of Madrid. The Chamberi district offers visitors a variety of restaurants such as the Restaurant St. Germain for economic meals next door, the Galician seafood restaurant across the street or the Ecocenter which serves excellent Mediterranean vegetarian meals. Just a short stroll from the home are two large parks where you can take in some sun or go for a jog. On particularly warm days there’s a pool at the park. After a busy day touring the capital you can return to your beautifully decorated B&B where you’ll find a pretty double bedroom with queen size bed, mirrored closets and formal drapes framing the 8^th floor window which offers lots of light. The private adjacent bathroom is equipped with a shower. Next to the room is a cozy private sitting room for your exclusive use. There is a sofa that folds out into an extra bed for a third person should you need.
Your host has lived in the Far East as the furnishings reflect. He has some of the most beautiful examples of Asian Art tastefully placed throughout the home. He has also lived in Australia and speaks fluent English. A continental breakfast is served in the dining room. Guests are welcome to use the main living room with T.V. and the kitchen for making light snacks, tea or coffee.
Transportation to all parts of Madrid is very easy via the Rios Rosas metro which is only a 5 minute walk from the home. Plaza Mayor & Sol are only 10 minutes on the metro with lots of shopping & culture. Closer to the home is the Bilbao area with its cafes in the daytime and tons of bars at night.
