This property is located on the 7^th floor of a modern building situated only a 10 min walk from the Retiro, Madrid’s main park with its huge lake on which you can go paddle boating , feed the ducks or watch the entertainers. Madrileños enjoy spending their time sipping drinks and people watching on the lakeside terraza. On the other side of the park you’ll find yourself in the museum area featuring the world famous Prado, as well as the Casón del Buen Retiro and the Museum of Decorative Arts. A little further along you’ll soon find yourself at the Reina Sofia Museum featuring the finest art of the 20^th century.
When you arrive to the home an elevator takes you to the 7^th floor where you’ll find a bright & airy home traditionally furnished with wood floor, plants and family momentos.
Guests are offered a double room with 2 twin beds, built-in wardrobes, window and a private bathroom with shower, tub and toilet. The guestroom is quiet & peaceful and has been recently refurbished & redecorated.
A continental breakfast is served in the comfortable & sunny dining room. Guests are welcome to use the lounge where smoking is permitted. Your hostess speaks very good English and is a great source of local information. There are many shops, restaurants and tapas bars near to the home. A couple worth mentioning are Gambrinos Cerveceria which has excellent seafood & tapas, as does the Restaurant Mendez.
